Our Purpose
This Technical Committee deals with the legal aspects of product compliance. The legal basis of product regulation is explained here. New legal acts are presented and explained. Information is provided on important case law on product liability and product regulation. The TC discusses and clarifies questions of interpretation regarding product regulation in the USA, Europe and other jurisdictions.

This Technical Committee focuses on the legal frameworks and challenges surrounding product compliance and safety regulations worldwide. It provides a platform to explore emerging legislation, analyze landmark case law, and clarify regulatory interpretation across multiple jurisdictions. Membership is free and open to all—no IEEE or PSES membership is required.
