Functional Safety
Our Purpose
The Functional Safety Technical Committee will provide appropriate guidance on Functional Safety techniques and methods to PSES technical committees, and IEEE societies. The committee will also disseminate Functional Safety knowledge to users through the publication of papers and through the PSES and by providing a source of speakers for Society and Chapter meetings.

This Technical Committee focuses on the principles and application of functional safety across various industries. It provides a platform to discuss evolving safety standards, share best practices, and address technical challenges. Membership is free and open to all—no IEEE or PSES membership is required.
